WWE RAW Reaction 10-5-15
Check out the Great, Good, Bad, and Pathetic from last night's episode of Monday Night RAW.
This show alot of good content, but it didn't feel like true competition for Monday night football, even with Lesnar in the opening segment. With Cena taking time off in a month, they should be trying to build up some strong contenders to really change things up. But instead this show was all about Stephanie McMahon and her ego. Words can't express how much I dislike the authority figures emasculating the entire roster. Pathetic.

Great
- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman started the show, and it was sensational. Another excellent money promo by Heyman and it ended with Brock tossing Big Show around like a dumpster with no value. I loved it.
- The failed wedding proposal from Summer to Rusev was sensational. I love that guy. Rusev is one of the most entertaining characters on the roster and this story line continues to keep me at least interested.
Good
- Loved the idea of New Day becoming more serious heels. The way they beat up Dolph, and Big E accepted the U.S title challenge was well done. The ending with the New Day laying out the Dudley's and standing tall to the end the show was very good. When was the last time you ever saw that? At least they are giving the New Day their due and at least trying to give them an edge. I liked it.
- Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman in a real good match with Orton being the most over performer. Bruan Strowman got the monster heel treatment again.
- The whole Corporate Kane vs Demon Kane story line is still cheesy, but Kane is doing a good job at performing his role. He does have some funny lines and he sells that injury like champ. The handcuffs were a nice touch. The tag match with Rollins going single handed against the Dudley's was nothing special but the overall story was entertaining. And Kane putting Rollins through a table got a good pop, so it worked.
- They finally highlighted the best woman on the roster, Sasha Banks. Although they didn't allow her to wrestle alot, she did get the win and some momentum heading into her rematch with Bailey, Wednesday on NXT Takeover.
Bad
- Neville didn't even get a ring entrance and jobbed in 32 seconds.
- Paige was a rogue heel, which didn't have much of a reaction and she lost clean.
- Ryback did a taped promo that was heavily scripted on Kevin Owens.
- No Cesaro. Smh
Pathetic
- Stephanie McMahon shouted down The New Day. Stephanie McMahon shouted down Kane. Stephanie McMahon shouted down Rollins. Twice. Stephanie scolded the World Champion, the Director of Operations and the Tag Team Champions and we weren't even 90 minutes into the show.
- Is she a heel, is she a face. Who the hell knows. The rules don't apply to her. Truly pathetic.
With Cena taking a leave of absence in a month, it's a major period of rebuilding ahead. The question is can they stop booking for ego and start booking for drawing money?
The top two heel acts were berated by the boss' daughter tonight. Reigns doesn't feel like he's hot enough to carry this show. The lack of direction characters like Owens, Cesaro, Ambrose shows me exactly where the companies mind set is right now. They are banking on the Reigns to emerge, with no signs pointing to that happening.
They also are looking for bail outs from past stars or part timers like Brock Lesnar. That is a failed business model and drastic changes must occur now, to build the stars for the future. Or they could just bring back this guy......
