Matt Brown was originally scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of this event. However, Brown was forced out of the bout due to injury. Neil Magny stepped in on short notice to face Gastelum in the new headline bout.
Erik Perez was originally scheduled to fight Damian Stasiak at this event. However, Stasiak withdrew from the bout. Taylor Lapilus stepped in to fight Perez.
