Week in TV Run It Back
DVR Review - 2/10/17
Thursday 2/2/17 - Wednesday 2/8/17
Thursday
Grey's Anatomy on ABC
I knew Alex wasn't locked up. It was too obvious. I hate that I wanted Bailey to be Chief all these years and she has made one bad decision after another ever since. How can she do this to Webber, who has has her back time after time, and mentored her. To try to undermine him with the new Surgeon and force him out, is pathetic. |
Scandal on ABC
You know, I really do feel bad for Millie in many ways when I really think about the overall storyline plot of this show. Sure, when needed, they have presented her as a villain in order to make Olivia look justified, but really she has been done wrong far more. This week was another example. Olivia tried to ruin her relationship with Marcus. Smh. Why can't she have the swirl too? You took her husband, let this woman live. And Cyrus.... |
Riverdale on CW
After two episodes Im in love with this show. Its a loose adaptation of the classic comic story of Archie, Betty and Veronica with a modern day twist. Its campy and meant for a young audience but I really enjoy this type of show from time to time. A well built cast really helps the show and of course the classic love triangle story with two good looking females is a plus. Good show. |
How to Get Away With Murder on ABC
Who the hell killed Wes? I really think it can't be the obvious. Why would Annalise kill him, so that's dumb, and Frank killing him is too easy. Could it be Bonnie? She's always jealous of how close he and Annalise are. Maybe his ex, the doctor? I really don't know but clearly this will not be answered any time soon, which will get old pretty quick for me. Let's move this along. |
Sunday
Homeland on Showtime
*Off for the SuperBowl* |
The Young Pope on HBO
It took a trip to Africa and witnessing the African people being mistreated and robbed of their water supply by a corrupt leader of the church, for the Pope to finally show his morality. He gave an excellent speech to the African villagers. Then he basically prayed for God to kill her. This show is deep man. |
Monday
Scorpion on CBS
I'm so glad Walter finally called Paige on her bullshit and told her what she was doing to him was wrong. Ever since the Tim bill crap, she has been treating Walt like trash and its been completely unfair. I'm so glad he put him in her on notice because it will make their reunion even sweeter. |
24: Legacy on FOX
When the 24 reboot was announced and it was to be without Jack Bauer, i was automatically skeptical of how it would be. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I like the plot of the season, introducing the new Main character as an ex soldier who has real purpose for being in the middle of the the operation. I like the introduction of the CTU analyst. But I still wish Chloe was on the show. Its just not the same, so I will just treat it as a new show. |
SuperGirl on CW
Poor Jon Jones. Smh. He loved M'gann and wanted to be with her but she decided to return to Mars anyway. Gut wrenching. Great to see the White Martians come to earth and battle, fun stuff. Loved it. Kara messing with Mon-El's emotions ain't cool and i'm glad he moved on quickly. Don't let her yo yo you man, you too good for the games. |
Love and Hip Hop NY on VH1
You know, i hate what this show has turned into. A large portion is basically a chance for Mendeecees baby mommas to get some shine and a check while he's locked up and can't pay child support. I fast forward through every scene with Yandy or the extras. Its annoying. I really hated this week because it dominated the entire episode. No Creep squad, no Snoop, no Cardi B. This week sucked. |
Tuesday
Flash on CW
We finally saw Katlyn take control of her powers and use them to help save Iris' life. Killer Frost trying to break through was great. When Joe finally discovered Iris' future fate, he was pissed. Clearly Wally wants to be better than Barry, but he's far from it. I love how they have developed Kid Flash so quickly. He could easily hold his own after awhile in his own along side Barry as a power team. |
DC's Legends of Tomorrow on CW
Before we discuss anything else, that scene with Vixen and Nate in the tent and she used her body heat to keep him warm, AKA shoved his face in her titties, was THE BEST SCENE EVER!!!! And then my man hit it!!! Damn she sexy!!! I could talk about her this entire update, but i must question why that idiot Jax gave Rip the spear. Smh. Why tell him? It made no sense. And why the hell don't they use their powers more? Its been a awhile. |
The Challenge Invasion on MTV
New season started off very good with a fresh spin, no returning winners right off the bat. I liked the mix of people including the cast from Brooklyn that were responsible for the Fireworks this week. It was so great seeing my man Corey playing the game smart and collected, unlike Nelson and Tony setting themselves up as targets. The vets are coming and its going get crazier. |
This Is Us on NBC
What the hell is up with Randall and his shaking hand? I hope they don't give him some life threatening illness. This show is so damn feel good and oure that it warms my heart everytime. I love the flashbacks with Jack and Rebecca, and the love he has for her is so powerful. I hope Kate doesn't cheat on Toby. And Im proud of Kevin. Glad they moved him into a great storyline. |
Chicago Fire on NBC
I wonder if the time has come for Kelly to leave. I don't really think so and I think the last time the show lost one of its main characters, the series really suffered. No, I'm still not over the death of Shay, smh tragic. The hunt for the dude from the fire was cheesy as hell and like I said last week, the show should be above this type of bullshit by now. |
Wednesday
Blackish on ABC
I loved this week's focus on the name of the new baby. Dre pushed hard for his son to have a black name, Devonte, and it was great. His motives were pure, he was proud of the black names of his culture and wanted his son to be proud of his culture. Then there is Junior. Smh. He was so pathetic trying to get the girl, but he actually got her after awhile. Then, botched it, bad. Smh. |
Black Ink Crew on VH1
Sky is trash, and I'm done with her. She's pathetic and psycho in ways I can't really explain. The way she treated that girl forced her to her breaking point, and I was so glad when Sky got busted up and needed stitches. What a horrible bully. Then she was crying like a pathetic bum the rest of the episode when she couldn't find her mother. Stop it. Over her completely and she's hurting the show. |
Are You the One on MTV
Fireworks this week boy. Kam and Eddie confirmed as the first perfect match of the season, and I thought all was good. Then, the same night, Alicia slides in and has sex with Eddie. Smh. Poor Kam. Too sexy to be treated like that. People got to remember that beautiful women get treated like shit too. I will never understand why people can't be faithful. |
