What Happened on.....? : Ray Donovan -
Season3: Episode 9
It’s Bunchy’s wedding day, as he and Teresa are about to get married. The night before, both families gather at Ray and Abby’s house for dinner. Ray clearly doesn't want them to get married and his attitude shows it. He even has Theresa investigated by Avi and Lena, but they find no real dirt on her.
Detective Muncie is organizing a sting on the Armenian Mob, and wants Mickey to work as an undercover informant. They offer him protection in exchange, but mickey wants no part of it. He's scared they will just kill him. But he agrees to the deal, then reneges on it and tries to escape town.
With Mickey bailing, Detective Muncie arrests Bunchy, on his wedding day, and uses him as ransom to get Mickey to come out his hole. Muncie tells Ray that Bunchy has been working for Mickey selling drugs and can be put away for at least seven years. Ray has to get Mickey, and she will let Bunchy go.
Ray is a smart man, as he finds Mickey right across the street from the wedding chapel in a motel. Mickey planned to sneak into Bunchy’s wedding, the skip town. Ray tells him that they got Bunch, then guilts him about leaving his family again. It works and Mickey agrees to the sting, if only so Bunchy can get to his wedding.
While all of this is going on, Bridget is once again off hanging out with her teacher. They are taking oxy and kissing. Pathetic.
While the wedding is underway, with Bunchy being let out of custody and showing up with time to spare, Mickey gets wired up and meets with the Armenians. He gets a few photos of the girls in the sex trade rink they are running, complete with prices, and brings them to Muncie.
Mickey knows he’s a dead man walking. It’ll only be so long before the figure out he was the mole and kill him.
The wedding reception is being held at the boxing gym. Lol. Darryl is DJ’ing the party. Ray makes up for his terrible speech earlier and says he’s happy to see these two together, and that it’s clear they’ll fight for each other.
Everyone is having a good time and seem happy. Mickey shows up and asks Ray for help with the Armenians. He's scared that when he goes to make the exchange he's going to get killed.
Ray shows no sympathy to Mick's face, but when he leaves Ray calls Lena and tells her to look into Mrs. Minassian.
The final scene shows Ed Cochran, the former FBI agent from last season, looking into the NFL deal for an investigative agency. He seems shocked when he sees Ray’s name on the forms as a part owner of the team. Ah boy.
