What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Thursday Night 10-8-15
We take a look at last night's jammed Thursday lineup, which saw the return of one of my favorite shows, the Vampire Diaries on the CW.
Last night on Grey's Anatomy, we saw some very interesting story line progression from various plot lines. Alex was really highlighted for his work with a difficult pediatric dilemma, while struggling with his own insecurities about having children with Jo. I could have sworn Joe told Edwards she was pregnant, but by the end of the episode it didn't appear that way. That kind of confused me.
I am very interesting to see where Shonda is going with the Pierce character. She seems in limbo and last night highlighted that fact further. I hope the role gets more teeth.
And Jackson left April and is staying on Bailey's couch. I mean, I get he's angry she decided to keep going ion the missions over seas, but clearly they still love each other, and needs to just suck it up and try to work on the relationship. Its getting annoying.
Rating: Good Episode

I can't lie, its going to get some getting used to for me to watch the Vampire Diaries without seeing Elena Gilbert. I'm still shocked she left the show. But I will give them credit, they did the right thing by fast forwarding three years into the future. I really wasn't interested in watching a season of grieving over Elena's death. Instead we got flashbacks to when they were grieving, which was a great way to homage to her, but not drag it out every episode.
Clearly they are continuing the attempt to turn Caroline and Stephan into the new big love story line, but it ain't clinking for me. I miss my baby. Smh. Show had a great return though with alot of action. Damon is going nuts again, which I like.
Rating: Very Good, yet tough

I have a confession, I'm growing tired of Scandal. Its still a good show, don't get me wrong, and I will still watch, but I don't like the characters, at all really. I mean, I know its been said time and time again, Olivia is a home wrecker and all, but honestly, its really hitting me in the face how little I empathize with any of them.
Last night was another reason for me to dislike her. Why put it out there that you are the President's mistress without being prepared to stand behind it. If you want him and he wants you, do what what yall do. You obviously never cared about his wife before, and clearly its all about protecting your own image. What is like-bale about that?
And don't get me wrong, most of my favorite TV characters in history have been villains. They have been flawed people who know they are wrong inside but project the image that they think they are in the right. They own it. Olivia seems to be so conflicted or phony that I don't really know what she wants. And Fitz, he's just an asshole, bottom line. Maybe its just me.
As for the episode, I hope Cyrus burns all of them to the ground!!! Lol.
Rating: Very Interesting

Last night's How to Get Away with Murder was the least entertaining episode of the new season. It really just left me wishing we were 7 weeks ahead so I can find out why the hell Annalise is laying on the floor bleeding to death. I'm pretty confused, but I guess that is the point.
The case of the week was kind of stupid, and I rather not discuss it. We clearly see that her army is rising up against her and trouble is coming. Nothing more to really talk about here.
Rating: Ok
