OJ Simpson: Made in America Review
Last week, I was privileged to view one of the greatest mini series documentaries I have ever seen, O.J.: Made in America on ESPN. I have been a huge fan of the ESPN 30 for 30 series for quite some time and everyone of them i have seen has at the very least been entertaining. Bu this one was unlike any broadcast before. It depicted not only the "Trial of the century", but the creators took the time to take a closer look at the events of the times that shaped the emotional pulse of the times in Los Angles.
I loved the TV drama which aired on FX earlier this year, The People vs O.J Simpson, which reenacted the Court case with well known actors. But this was totally different.
The documentary was split into five parts, each two hours long, and was filled with commentary by those who were essential to the life and story of OJ Simpson. I want to present a few of my favorite segments here today.
This first clip looks at OJ's relationship with the African American Community.

This first clip looks at OJ's relationship with the African American Community.
The next clip examines the various crimes that went unpunished in LA.
Next, we see the Rodney King verdict and Riot in Watts.
Next the Bronco Chase. Smh.
Next we look at the defense of OJ, by infusing the racial divide.
There were far to many great scenes for me to include here, but I plead with you to go to the watch ESPN app, or ESPN.com to see all five parts. They have been rearing the series on ESPN networks all week. You will not be disappointed.
