TOP FIVE SHOWS
OF THE LAST WEEK
NUMBER FIVE
The Affair - Showtime
Ok Noah Solloway got some chocolate in his milk! I loved this episode so much because it gave me sexy ass Sanaa Lathan in all her glory. What an excellent role for her as the principle trying to hold students accountable for their actions, no matter what economic background they come from. I loved this because it hit on current social issues happening in our country, as well as we got sexy ass Sanaa!!!!
NUMBER FOUR
Succession - HBO
It's not too often when a new show can hook me from the beginning and intrigue me each and every week. I love this show. I must say this, if my father attacked my special needs sone like that, I would have to kill him on the spot. That old man is off his rocker and he is in no condition to be running the company. Great episode.
NUMBER THREE
Big Brother - CBS
The first full week of BB was explosive and pretty much set the tone for what we can expect see the rest of the season. Alliances have been formed, lines have been drawn, flips have happened already, the first blindside went down, and we will most likely get another next week. Depending on how these next few weeks go, this season may get pretty boring, really quick. Swaggy looks like he's a dead man walking.
NUMBER TWO
Naked and Afraid XL - Discovery
The two hour season finale was so gratifying in every way. We got to see them struggle, point fingers, doubt each other, and in the end rejoice in triumph, as they overcame. I loved it. The odds of catching an Impala and a hog on the same day seemed impossible, but got damn was that a hell of a moment. I took so much joy in watching them feast like kings. Poor Trent caught malaria out there and could have died, but he stuck it out like a trooper, and made the full 40. This was just an excellent episode, and the only thing that could have made it better is if the tree branch would have snapped while Gary was up there.... Lol.
THIS WEEK'S NUMBER ONE
Power - Starz
Power is back, so get used to this dominating one of the top spots each week. The premiere was excellent, and everything you look for out of a return. We got follow up, conclusions, and more questions. Ghost has to kill his son Tariq! I don't care if that sound inhuman, but that's just the way it has to be. That little punk snitched and dimed out the drop on Dre, the man in part who is responsible for his sister's death. He has to die. Be sure to check out the Crews weekly video review of Power each week. Check the front page for updates.
