WWE RAW Reaction -
New Raw and Smackdown GM's: YES!!!
Check out my great, good, and bad from last night's RAW.
Great
- I enjoyed the main event title match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and the dusty finish was great touch and well done.
- Seth Rollins’ empty arena promo was excellent, both for its content and the fact that the WWE appears more open to different settings for its monologues and dialogues in recent times.
- I enjoyed Mick Foley’s spirit of competition face off with Daniel Bryan. These two are very good selections for the GMs as they are faces that the fans can enjoy watching. Plus I'm so over the heel authority bullshit.
Good
- The 12 men involved in Monday night’s top-of-the-second-hour segment were pretty entertaining together. And the match was good as well. While it may have gone long at almost 20 minutes, it did not outstay its welcome. AJ Styles pinning Amore, after an inadvertent clothesline to Cena by the latter, felt like the right finish leading into Battleground.
- Cesaro & Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho. Announcers spent most of the match building up the Zayn-Owens match for Battleground, proclaiming it as their final singles match.
Bad
- Having just informed us of the Lucha Dragons announcing their split on Facebook, the company commenced their newly-minted cruiserweight singles careers by sacrificing Sin Cara to Vince’s guy, Baron Corbin, in under a minute.
- Why treat Darren Young like a fluke and a joke.
