What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Tuesday Night 12-15-15
Nothing new that i watch was on last night, and I mean NOTHING, so let me take this chance to review a show I have been watching but not reviewing, Black Ink: Chicago.
When VH1 announced they would be doing a spin off of the hit show Black Ink, but this time set in Chicago, I was immediately skeptical. I look at what they have done with the Love and Hip Hop franchise, and while ATL has been great, LA, was overkill in my opinion. But I decided to give it a chance.
Well, I for one have been pleasantly surprised. I enjoy the show and like that the females are attractive and the guys, for the most part, are entertaining characters. Did I say the females are attractive? Oh yea, they are.
I really love laughing at idiots dig themselves into holes, and on this show, the head fool is Don. LOL. This guy destroyed his relationship on National TV, and tried to play it like we didn't just see it for ourselves. I mean, he lies so much about saying he didn't sleep with Charmaine, that I think he really believes it!! Hilarious story line.
The head of 9Mag, the name of the Tattoo shop the show follows, is Ryan. Unlike Cesar in New York, Ryan is in no way the lead of this show. Mater of fact, Ryan is a bitch, and the show would be much better without him. He cries about EVERYTHING!!! Its terrible.
The new thing he's crying about is the fact that Kat, the only female tattoo artist on the show, is stepping out on her own and leaving the shop behind in many ways. Really, she just did a convention that she offered to them to do, which they turned down, and then tried to hop on later once she did all the work and the show started filming. And she told them no. Ryan handled this like any bitch would, he cried.
On Monday's episode Kat went Hard!! She came into the shop and called out all the rest of them for talking about her behind her back and she called Ryan a bitch to his face, multiple times. It was hilarious!!! I can't wait until next week.
I think you should go back and give the show a try. Its pretty entertaining, and the tats are tough too.
