TOP FIVE SHOWS
OF THE LAST WEEK
NUMBER FIVE
Survivor - CBS
The Cold war between Dominick and Chris finally came to a head last week and the conclusion was GLORIOUS!!! That was one of the more satisfying conclusions to a tribal council I can ever recall as the cocky, arrogant asshole Chris was put in his place and voted out with an idol in his pocket!!! Loved it!!! And I loved both Dom and Wendell comments about him as they cast their votes. Wendell murdered him and called his rapping trash!!! It was hilarious!!! Great great episode.
NUMBER FOUR
For the People - ABC
I enjoy this show more and more each week and the main reason why is the diversity of the subject matter and angles it covers issues from. This week we saw things from a judges perspective and the difficulty they have in balancing their personal views and the laws that have been passed and established. 10 year Mandatory minimums in theory should scare people off of getting involved in activity that would get the violator that sentence. But this episode did an excellent job of showing how difficult applying it in every situation can be. So well done and I learned a lot too.
NUMBER THREE
Billions - Showtime
That boy Axe always got a plan and somehow, some way always shovels his way out of a ditch of shit. Not only did he rig his way back into trading under a shell, but he bribed a star witness not to flip on him!! Amazing. Chuck and his father may be on the radar for the ice juice conspiracy, and things could get really interesting very soon. Love this show.
NUMBER TWO
Homeland - Showtime
Jeez!!! Carrie is mentally shot and completely off her rocker at this point. Poor Franny is going he scarred for life with what Carrie is putting this girl through. The way the conspiracy was unfolded and revealed was perfect and I loved this episode because it gave satisfying conclusions to certain parts of the story arc.
THIS WEEK'S NUMBER ONE
The Crossing - ABC
Man I love this show!!! If you haven't been watching you need to catch up quickly because the story is evolving rapidly and is easy to get hooked on. It gives you that Lost and Jericho feel where its sci fi suspense drama with a great human element that draws you in. I can't wait until Reese reaches the camp, cause she is a legit bad ass!!!
