What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Sunday Night 10-4-15
Man, when I tell you Sunday night's are jammed packed, I mean really jammed packed. So many great shows come on Sunday's that I can not put them all in this report, as I haven't watched them all yet. Check out my thoughts from every thing I was able to see thus far.
Last night's episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine was a great example of why i fell in love with this comedy. The ensembled cast all bring something different to the table. Scully and Hitchcock are the funniest numbskulls on TV and Boil is one of the most hilarious characters on TV. Great to see Kalinda from the Goodwife back on TV.
It was good to see Holt back in the 99, and clearly they will build to his triumphant return as Captain. Terry Crews is so damn entertaining. I like the relationship between Jake and Amy.
Rating: Really Good

My favorite drama on network TV returned last night, The Goodwife and it was as good as ever. I loved the storyline they are exploring where Alicia is slumming it trying to be a bar attorney, as she cant get a job after the election scandal. We get to see her trying to build herself back up, while Cannon wants her to work for him. Clearly Carey is getting fed up at his firm without Alicia, but it looks like Alicia may have found herself a new potential partner.
What I didn't see coming in a million years was Peter and Eli breaking up. Wow. How the hell Peter think he's going to become Vice President is beyond me. Especially since Eli knows where the bodies are buried.
Rating: Excellent

Quantico continued to develop into a strong contender for the best new show of the season. We learned alot more backstory on alot of the characters, and i love shows that have a great element of mystery.
Alex is not only sexy as hell, but she is smart and a great fighter. I love different characters in lead roles on TV.
Rating: Great episode

After last week's premiere of Blood and Oil, I was kind of indifferent toward watching last night. But i must say, this show isn't bad at all. The follow up to last week's explosion was very well done, and i felt the episode was very well paced.
Billy is clearly getting wrapped up in the dream of making it big and Briggs is manipulating the hell outta him. Don Johnson is great in his role.

Homeland is back and Carrie is actually living a pretty normal life for once, and is living in Berlin with a man she loves and her daughter. But issues in Lebanon are drawing her back in, and she will have to travel their to protect her new boss. Her and Saul are beefing, because Carrie works for a private company as their head of security and Saul doesn't agree with it.
It will be interesting to see how long she can stay away from her CIA past, but I hope she rejoins them at some point. Ground work episode with nothing really exciting. But as you know with this show, it always heats up later.
Rating: Solid

The Affair returned for its 2nd season with some fireworks. I loved the scene where Martin took on his mother in law and tried to get his stuff out the house. He was great when he threatened to throw her ass down the stairs. Lol.
The convo between Martin and his son about the divorce was very well done and really touched on the subject openly and honestly.
I like that we get to see the day from the eyes of Helen this season, as I find her a very interesting character in this whole story. The whole love triangle/ Square is very compelling, and i love the story the writers are telling.
The murder aspect has always been so insignificant to me that I think its useless to the overall plot of the show. I was hoping they would just wrap it and and drop it. But no, its back.
I really want Noah and Helen to get back together and I hope that's the final outcome. To show that people can bounce back from an affair.
