Causion's NFL Power Rankings: Pre - Week 3
Today I reveal my first list of weekly NFL power rankings for the 2015 season. Unlike other sites, I don't do power rankings until after week 1 has been played, as I don't feel you should judge a team off of what happened in the preseason nor off of what you saw happen last year.
So today, I will take into account everything I know about these teams, and give heavy consideration to what was displayed on the field in week one. This gives an accurate assessment of where teams are at in my opinion.

This Week's Rankings

1. New England Patriots
Tom Brady is playing like man possessed. Gronk is a real life monster, and they destroyed the vaunted Bills defense. Best team in football, even the though defense has holes.

2. Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers was great against the Seattle defense and the defense played well. The lost of Eddie Lacey may hurt soon.

3. Denver Broncos
The defense is top notch, and Peyton Manning was able to get back to form against a good Chiefs defense in the 2nd half.

4. Arizona Cardinals - 8 last week
The Cardinals may be the most complete team n football. Larry Fitzgerald was great and they are the best in the NFC West. Defense still win championships in this league.

5. Cincinnati Bengals - 11 last week
I don't see too many holes on the Bengals. Jeremy Hill went down and Gio Benard came in and wrecked shop. Both sides of the ball are impressive.

6. Atlanta Falcons - 10 last week
The Falcons were down 10 in the fourth quarter and came roaring back to win in NY last week. Give them credit. Offense looks like they are back to the stride they had a few years ago.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers - 20 last week
Give Big Ben and that offense credit. they may be the most dangerous one lost team in the league and I am extremely impressed after two weeks, without Lev' Bell.

8. Carolina Panthers - 18 last week
They hav'nt exactly faced stiff competition, but unlike some teams (Ravens), they beat up the teams they are supposed. Give Cam credit for getting it done even with the injuries they have.

9. Dallas Cowboys - 7 last week
With Tony Romo out for about eight weeks, the Cowboys will have to adjust their offense, and hope the defense can do what they did last week in Philly, every week.

10. New York Jets - 21 last week
The way their defense is playing, they will be in a lot of games. Todd Bowles has really done a heck of a job with that side of the ball. They have a certain toughness I really like.

11. Buffalo Bills - 4 last week
They're a solid team, but New England reminded them who the king is in the AFC East. Don't jump off the bandwagon just yet.

12. Kansas City Chiefs - 5 last week
You can't turn the ball over like they did against Denver and expect to win. They could easily be 2-0.

13. Washington Redskins - 13 last week
They could easily be 2-0, thanks to their running game and top-ranked defense. That was an impressive victory over the Rams.

14. St. Louis Rams - 6 last week
After a big win over Seattle, they loss to the Redskins and that defense got the ball run right down their throat. Should be a touch matchup against the Steelers.

15. Oakland Raiders - 30 last week
Big props to Derek Carr for the game-winning drive against the Ravens. The team has alot of young talent that looked good.

16. Seattle Seahawks - 9 last week
Kam Chancellor is back, and at t 0-2, they are in a big hole. They have a good chance to begin the turnaround against the Bears.

17. San Diego Chargers - 12 last week
They had their chances on the road against the Bengals, but came up short. Overall, their play makers have to show up for this team to be successful in the AFC West.

18. Miami Dolphins - 13 last week
That front 7 needs to play alot better for all the money they are being paid. I expect more from them and we will get it.

19. San Francisco 49ers - 15 last week
They came back to reality with the trip to the Steelers. Playing there after a Monday night game was a tough task.

20. Minnesota Vikings - 28 last week
It sure looked like Adrian Peterson was back to being the old Peterson. Funny what being home does to play calling.

21. Cleveland Browns - 32 last week
It should be Johnny Manziel the rest of the way, but Josh McCown was named the starter for this week. Johnny Football played well enough to earn another start in my opinion.

22. Tennessee Titans - 19 last week
Marcus Mariota came back to Earth a bit, but he did get it going in the second half against the Browns. That's what happens to rookies sometimes.

23. Tampa Bay Bucs - 29 last week
Give them credit for going on the road and winning after that first-week disaster. Jameis Winston showed that bust talk from Week 1 was really a bunch of stupidity.

24. Jacksonville Jaguars - 31 last week
The offense took a big step forward against the Dolphins. Now comes a major challenge at New England. Good luck with that.

25. New York Giants - 23 last week
Two heart-breaking losses make their Thursday game with the Redskins a big one. The heat is already on Tom Coughlin and Eli is paid too much to play so dumb.

26. Baltimore Ravens - 14 last week
I could easily rank them lower. That's how disgusted I am with that defense. Their season is off to a horrible start. Now what? Hard to believe they are 0-2.

27. Philadelphia Eagles - 16 last week
Isn't this supposed to be an offensive machine? Somebody needs to get in there and fix it. It's bad right now. Demarco Murry is really missing that Dallas offensive line now.

28. Indiannapolis Colts - 17 last week
Say what you want, but these guys are way too over hyped for my liking and they proved to be exactly what I thought, frauds.

29. Detroit Lions - 22 last week
Again, they couldn't get the ball to Megatron consistently. At 0-2, they have to be one of the biggest disappointments so far. They just haven't looked crisp at all so far

30. New Orleans Saints - 24 last week
At 0-2, they hardly look like the team we've come to expect with Drew Brees and Sean Payton. Now comes word Brees might be hurt. Rob Ryan sucks.

31. Houston Texans - 25 last week
They are 0-2, and don't look anything like a potential playoff team. Ryan Mallett needs to stay in as the quarterback, and the d line is the most over hyped unit I can recall in years.

32. Chicago Bears - 26 last week
It's going to be a long season. The defense isn't much better, which puts a ton of pressure on the offense. And Jay Cutler did what he does under pressure, walked away with an injury.
