TOP TEN: Destination America
Like many, I love to travel. Growing up, my family was always going somewhere. We were not rich, but fortunately we were not poor either. Thus, my parents always made sure we planned vacations various times throughout the year.
I remember when I was young, my parents purchased our first Time share property in Virginia Beach. You couldn't tell me my family wasn't rich. Lol.
Then we purchased another one in Masssanutten, Virginia and we started to take advantage of the ability to use our timeshare in various locations, aside from where we originally bought it. It was the greatest thing ever.
That's when I fell in love with my home away from home, Las Vegas Nevada. Vegas is my favorite place to travel. Not just because I love to gamble, because I can gamble in Baltimore, but the City provides so much energy, activity, and a variety of things to do. When you are there, it feels like you are someplace special. So of course, it's number 1 on my list of favorite places I have traveled to.
But today, I would like to countdown, the top ten places in teh United States I have yet to travel to in the near future. As much as I ave traveled in my life time, many of the destinations I have been to have been places off the beat and path. Therefore, I have not been to many of the most popular destination spots in the country. In many ways its kind of embarrassing.
So here is my "bucket list" of places I need to visit i the next 20 years.

10. Dallas, Texas
I normally would rank Dallas way higher on my list as I have always been intrigued by the City. But since I am going there next year for Wrestlemania already, I feel comfortable putting it at the end of my list. I can' wait to enter the huge Dallas Stadium.

9. Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Give me a cabin, a boat, and a fishing rod, and I'm in heaven. I want to go fishing in Cape Cod. Fishing is a passion of mine that I love to do and there is few better places I would love to visit to do so before I leave this earth.

8. Canton, Ohio
No mystery here. When Ray Lewis is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, I am traveling to Canton, no matter what.

7. Seattle, Washington
As a football fan, I just want to go to a Seahawks and be in the midst of the loudest crowd in all of football. I know people who live in Seattle and they say its crazy, so I want to do it at least one time.

6. Chicago, Illinois
I have always wanted to go to Chi Town. I really don't know exactly why. I just want to go and act like a tourist and do tourist things. Probably will go to Steve Harvey's show too. Lol.

5. San Antonio, Texas
Anybody who knows me knows, there is only one reason San Antonio is on this list. Before he retires, I have to go to San Antonio to watch Tim Duncan and my Spurs play a playoff game. May have to be in the next few months.

4. Los Angeles, California
I have thought about going to LA many times while in Vegas, just to say I've been, but the lure of the town really hasn't peaked my interest until recently. I would love to go tour some of the movie lots and production studios. I could have a really nice time out there now.

3. Miami, Florida
This city has alluded me for some reason. I just can't explain why I have never been. I have been to Orlando several times, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and even Key West. But never Miami. The nightlife is the star, and I got to go before I get to old to appreciate it. I'm aging quickly.

2. New Orleans, Louisiana
That's right, for as many times as I have been to Vegas, I have never been to New Orleans. Smh. Before the end of next year, I will be there. I got to get there. I was supposed to go last year, it fell through. I'm going, its a must. My main mission will be to eat and enjoy the "scenery".

1. Hawaii
I have to get there one day. Ideally, it would be the perfect Honeymoon destination, but only God knows if and when that will happen. So I got to get there. I just want to relax in a bungalow, and enjoy God's paradise.
