What Happened on.....? : Orange is the New Black -
Season 3: Episode 4
Episode 4
Red and many of the inmates are having a tough time missing Nicky since she got sent to Max detention. Piper blames Luschek and gives him an extra hard time.
Black wants to tap into the money stream Pennsatucky gets from the religious fan club that send her donations to her commissary. She goes so far as to dress up and get made over to look like a feminine woman.
She meets with Reverend who she is trying to shakedown but she couldn't keep up the charade when he calls her a reformed thieving dyke. Smh. She snaps and cusses him out. Lol.
Piper and Alex continue to struggle with being intimate now that they aren't mad at each other anymore.
We learn that its Piper's birthday and her family comes to visit her. Her brother and his wife keep it upbeat and positive and her mother tries, but her father can't let it go that she's in prison at 32. She informs them that she has a girlfriend and kind of rubs it in her parents face and they get pissed and leave.
Piper ask Alex to be her girlfriend.
Caputo informs the CO's that he may have found someone who may buy the prison and keep it open. Potential buyers tour the prison and its a real tough sell to say the least. So many little fires with the inmates keep popping up as he's leading the tour around. The tour went horribly. But MCC decides they will take over Litchfield, and Caputo is elated.
Caputo informs Diaz that Bennett is gone and not coming back. She's devastated.
Suzanne is wearing on the nerves of the sisters. She still is stuck on the notion that Vee is coming back. She is keeping the black girls up at night and acting extra crazy about it. Taystee finally breaks through to her and convinces her that Vee is dead and in the process let's out the feelings she has been holding inside. Suzanne feels extra close to Taystee now. Lol.
My favorite scene this week was in the visitation room.
Mendoza's mother brings her grandson to see his mother, as he has been completely disrespecting her and so difficult to raise in her absence. Mendoza threatens him and orders that he will come see her every week with his homework or her brothers will fuck him up!!!!! But she didn't think about how he's going to get there every week. Lol.
Seems like some type of relationship is forming between Healy and Red.
Another very good episode. I think the sale of the prison will lead to some unpleasant changes. Should be interesting.
One thing I have noticed is a lack of a big story line. I'm sure it will develop soon, but so far, aside from Nicky going to Max, nothing big has really happened yet. But knowing the shows track record, something big is on the way.
