What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Monday Night 10-19-15
Check out my review of three really good shows that air on Monday nights. I trimmed the fat this week.
Scorpion continues to present well developed evolving characters better than any other "Procedural" drama on TV. Sylvester's evolution has been the greatest example of this. When we met him, not only wa she scared of his own shadow, but he didn't know what human emotions or feelings were, yet alone how to appropriate them. Last night's episode was a sensational display of just how far he has come.
Also, the build up to Walter and Paige getting together has been damn near perfect. Lois and Clark. And on another note, Paige looked damn good in that outfit. My, My.
Rating: Very Good

Last night's episode of Blind Spot was really action packed and full of great story advancement. After learning last week the Jane may actually not be Taylor Shaw, Kurt is basically in denial and has not told her about the tooth sample which shows that she was born in Sub Saharan Africa. He chooses to instead lean on the DNA test that IDs her as his childhood friend who was kidnapped and presumed dead.
This episode was so good, as we see the team engage in a hostage situation, where for the first time I can remember, the hostages actually got sprayed down with bullets and killed!!! I never saw that coming.
The highlight was the beef between the FBI and CIA. Carter the CIA head on the show, is an exceptional character, and he really adds a lot to the cast. I can't wait to see how the dynamic contines to play out.
Rating: Great

Last night's episode of Fargo was an example of the type of TV drama I love to watch. The show is built on a sensible story, that is simple and easy to understand, yet plays out in a dramatic and creative way. But the key is the story is given proper time to build and develop.
In a time where TV is littered with instant gratification dramas, where by the end of an hour long episode more twist turns and conclusions have been revealed than the mind can keep up with, Fargo slows down the pace and develops characters. I love it. We got to know each persons motives and mind process, some in scenes where no words were spoken, yet the images and actions told the tale.
The butchering of the body was something you could see coming just by paying attention. No words were needed to be said. Subtle nuances make the show click. I can't wait for the next chapter in the story.
