What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Thursday Night 10-1-15
Today I have my review of what I watched last night on TV, including TGIT on ABC, with Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to get Away with Murder.
The Ravens vs Steelers game took up the rest of viewing pleasure, so I will have additional reviews on the shows I DVR'd but didn't get to watch, next week.

Day one of Bailey's reign on Grey's Anatomy was very rocky, but in the end she learned a lesson and will be better for it. I love the Bailey character, and I'm glad she's getting her due.
Kepner and Jackson's relationship was touched on in this episode, and I like the way Shonda is telling this story. April suffered a significant loss when she lost her child and ever since then she's been basically trying to mask her pain by running off saving people on these missions. Meanwhile Jackson is suffering and being neglected alone. So he finally said enough. And now she wants him back and he is running from it. Of course eventually they probably will reconcile, but I like the story.
Rating: Very Good

Well, the follow up to last week was..... holding off everything until next week. Lol. I liked this episode of Scandal, as it spoke to my theory on Olivia all along. She loves being with Fitz in private, and she loves the idea of being with him, but I don't think she's prepared for the reality of what that means.
It will be interesting to see how the affiar is revealed and how this will play out. The fact that Fitz has leverage over Millie is interesting. Will he be impeached like Clinton? How deep will they go into these revelations. This should get good.
Rating: Pretty Good

How to Get Away with Murder is one of the best shows on TV in blending a recurring story line into an episode while also giving excellent attention to the new issue of the week.
I am not a fan of many shows that have a new story of the week, that is wrapped up by the end of the episode. But this show, is so great at continuing the overarching story while introducing new stories each week.
Annalise Keating is the most powerful female character on TV when it comes to delivering lines, and Viola Davis's performance on the witness stand was phenomenal. And Jean Grey was excellent.
Episode Rating: Greatness
