WWE RAW Reaction - HHH Stands Tall.... Again
This week's RAW has some good, waaay more bad. Shows lie this question why my loyalty to watching this companies product.
Check out my great, good, bad, and really really pathetic from last night's RAW.
Check out my great, good, bad, and really really pathetic from last night's RAW.
Great
- Stephanie McMahon is one of the most annoying personalities on WWE TV, and I often speak here bout how much I hate how she dresses down the roster she should be trying to elevate and emasculating the men. But last night, she cut the promo of her life as she talked about her brother Shane and how he's trying to take her spotlight away. There so much true emotion in her promo, that it felt natural, it felt real, and anyone watching could tell she meant that shit. It was the best thing on the show by far.
- The Fabulous Freebirds were named as the new inductees as the WWE Hall of Fame.
Good
- I thought Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch had a very good match to open the show. Great back and forth technical wrestling and pin trading spots. Very good stuff that the crowd should have given more respect to. the NXT crowd would have eaten this up and elevated the match even more. The finish was little lame because we just saw it on NXT a few weeks ago, so it felt to choreographed. But it hopefully sets up 3 way at Mania, which should be good.
- I thought Y2AJ vs the New Day was avery good TV tag match. I still don't like the idea of AJ being in a tag team, nor do I like the thought that it will lead to a spilt and AJ an Jericho wrestling again. I have no desire to see Jericho involved with AJ at all, to be honest.
- Lana made TV, and it looks she may have a spot with Brie, which is cool.
- Naomi continues to impress. I love this woman and wish they would give her a chance on top.
- I actually like the idea of Ryback being more aggressive and he had good ground and pound. Almost felt like a message for CM Punk. Lol.
Bad
- What the hell man? All week, we speculated what the Undertaker may say and how he may be convinced into wrestling Vince's battle. We thought of all these great ideas Vince could force Taker to take the match. And what do they do? Undertaker takes 10 minutes to walk to the ring, says the blood of Shane would be on Vince's hands, not his. And the he left. What the fuck on is going on? THAT'S IT!!!! That's the best you numskulls could come up with? Only thing that saved this from pathetic was Vince's actual performance. The content was simply PATHETIC.
- What the hell was Bray Wyatt talking about in that promo? Talk about dropping the ball with a guy. Smh. Poor fella.
- The Miz and Doph match was yet another example of good talent that has been destroyed by 50/50 booking, and now really is nothing more than bodies on the card. Sad really of you look back a few years.
Pathetic
- I just don't get this company. I really don't. Why is Kevin Owens even wrestling the Big Show? Not to mention in back to back shows. And then if he's facing him, WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE BE LOSING TO HIM, AT ALL!!!! I don't care that it was count out. We are on the road to Wrestlemania, not a dull days of Summer. Why is Kevin Owens not in a feud with the likes of AJ Styles or the countless other up and coming talents on the roster. Why is he being wasted with the old and washed up Big Show. I'm so pissed. I hate these people man. I really do.
Why Yo?
Somethings deserve a separate category. I really think this company is passing me by. I watch New Japan Pro Wrestling, and they never insult my intelligence or make me feel like they they have to do stupid things to somehow show me how much smarter they are than me. In what world, In what world does anything they did last night with Dean Ambrose and HHH make any sense. Please convince me that I just don't know shit about wrestling.
Last week, two matches were confirmed for Mania. HHH defending teh title against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar. Last week, Brock Lesnar beat up Dean Ambrose so bad, he had to be taken to the hospital. Only to return and get destroyed by Brock again. Reigns never came out to help or assist his friend. Reigns then was destroyed, one on one in fair fight by HHH and left bloody with a busted nose.
This week, Ambrose comes out like nothing happened and wants to fight HHH and wants a title match. Huh? What the hell does that have to do with what we saw just last week? How the hell does Ambrose make it out this week but Reigns is nowhere to be seen? Reigns comes off looking like punk pussy who got beat up and didn't come out for revenge against HHH. But Ambrose, who was destroyed by Brock Lesnar, is here reciting lines and telling jokes. Ambrose coming out like he did brushes off the beat down from Brock, and diminishes the importance of that match. But it also highlights how much more important anything involving HHH has to be. SMH.
Well of course, because he's booked himself as the World Champion. And now they have to book a Network special with Ambrose and HHH , instead of building towards Mania. So stupid.
But my biggest problem is the fact that HHH has to be the most violent, ruthless and heavily pushed guy on the roster. In back to back weeks he completely destroyed Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. All to pump up his ego and get himself over as a bad guy. Get the fuck outta here. No matter what he does, Reigns is getting boo'd at Mania, so why bury everyone else on the way to Mania. Ego. I hate this company sometimes man.

HHH will have a tune-up fight of sorts before Wrestlemania in Dallas, defending the gold against Dean Ambrose at the newly-named Roadblock event in Toronto. The show will air live on WWE Network on Saturday, March 12th at 8 PM.
Cleary, tonight was a way to build to that, but I'm sorry, Dean Ambrose has been getting his ass whipped far too often for me. Unless they call an audible, he will be losing to HHH in Toronto, and in that case, how the hell does that help his match with Brock. Smh.
