What a day it was in college football yesterday. There were upsets, there were surprisingly close match ups and their were some teams that just looked dominant. Lets take a look at some of the key match ups.
No. 12 Clemson holds off No. 6 Notre Dame
Clemson struck quickly in Notre Dame's first visit to Death Valley since 1977, with Watson running for 38 yards on the game's first play. Watson found Leggett moments later for a 6-yard touchdown pass and a 7-0 lead.
The crowd was rocking and before you could blink it was 14-0. After half time, ND got the ball and fumbled it right to Clemson. Quickly they were down 24-3. All hope was lost. And my picks pool was dead. Smh.
But quarterback DeShone Kizer rallied Notre Dame from 21-3 down in the second half with two touchdown passes, the last a 1-yard toss to Torii Hunter Jr. It wasn't enough as they failed to get te 2 point conversion.
Huge win for Clemson, who now move to 4-0 for fourth time in five years.

Florida beats Ole Miss
No. 3 Mississippi got absolutely beat down in a 38-10 loss at 25th-ranked Florida on Saturday night. Ole Miss entered the game looking to back up a huge win at Alabama two weeks ago. Well, this was not the same Ole Miss team we saw then.
The Rebels turned the ball over four times as Florida's defense, meanwhile, dominated the line of scrimmage.

No. 13 Alabama routs No. 8 Georgia 38-10
Alabama (4-1, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) jumped ahead 24-3 at halftime and iced the victory on Georgia's first offensive play of the second half. Eddie Jackson intercepted a pass from the Bulldogs' second quarterback, Brice Ramsey, and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown.
After a discouraging, five-turnover loss to Mississippi in its SEC opener two weeks ago, the Tide looked more like itself on a rainy day between the hedges.
Georgia added to its reputation of flopping in the biggest games. Even though the Bulldogs have a favorable schedule the rest of the way and still have a reasonable shot at playing in the SEC championship game, it's hard to imagine a team that lost so badly on its home field getting any serious consideration in the national picture.

No. 1 Ohio State comes back to beat Indiana
Ohio State (5-0, 1-0) fumbled four times and lost two. Cardale Jones threw away a scoring chance when he was picked off inside the Hoosiers 15-yard line. The Buckeyes had eight major penalties, the offense couldn't score touchdowns in the red zone and their normally stout defense couldn't put it away.
But Ezekiel Elliott scored on second-half touchdown runs of 55, 65 and 75 yards and helped push the Buckeyes' 18-game winning streak with a 34-27 victory in Indiana.
The Hoosiers (4-1, 0-1), who have not beaten the Buckeyes since 1988, made life miserable despite losing the nation's top rusher, Jordan Howard, in the first half, and starting quarterback, Nate Sudfeld, in the third quarter. Both had left ankle injuries.
