WWE RAW Reaction - Big News for Hell in a Cell
Check out my great, good, bad, and pathetic from last night's RAW.
Great
- I love the entire Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho story line, and the slow build to their breakup. It makes the Jericho and AJ story line from earlier this year look even more rushed and pathetic. Both men have been great in their roles, and I can't say enough positive about it.
- I'm glad Seth beat Jericho and it stops him fro entering the Hell in a Cell match. I think Stephanie will still add him as a heel tactic to screw Seth, and it will then backfire. This was, the odds are stacked.
- Paul Heyman's promo challenging Goldberg to face Brock was fantastic. Heyman is always an excellent promo.
- I liked the treatment of Sasha and Charlotte tonight and the announcement that they will be wrestling inside Hell in a Cell.
Good
- I'm glad they put the team of Neville and Sammi Zayn back together, as they are a natural fit. These two would be way better served on Smackdown, but if they are on RAW, they should be showcased, and not losing. So this was good.
- The Cruiserweight tag match was pretty good. I like Lince Dorado and think he has potential. What I don't like is Sun Cara....
- The Club is trying to be more serious and they starting a feud with Enzo and Cass. Hopefully somebody comes out of this better for it.
- I have a feeling that Cesaro and Sheamus are winning the tag titles and ending the New Days quest to break the record. I like that Sheamus and Cesaro are taking awhile to get along. Eventually they may actually be a great tag team. New Day are getting stale to me as champs.
- I liked the Braun Strowman squash this week. By him winning so mucb and being so dominant, it does make me anticipate him have a match against a real threat. I don't know who that will be though.
Bad
- While the TJ Perkins match with Davari wasn't bad, I really don't understand why Davari was in this match. We just watched a tournament with all these great cruisers from around the world. They bring the division to RAW, and they choose to put fucking Davari in a showcase match against the champion. What a missed opportunity. Every time the Cruisers are on, it needs to be action packed and show people something different. Davari provides neither. Bad job bookers.
- Why is Titus so bad? He just really sucks as a personality. Get him off my TV if your going to present him like a fool every week. Truth territory.
Goldberg tweeted on Monday night: "Booking my flight to answer that big mouth @HeymanHustle 's challenge next week in person on #MondayNightRaw #WhosNext? #seeyathere @WWE"
Dave Meltzer reported last week that Goldberg vs. Lesnar was all but confirmed for WWE's upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 20th. Next week should be very interesting.
