WWE RAW & SMACKDOWN REACTION

Check out my great, good, bad, and pathetic from WWE TV this week.
GREAT
I thought the opening segment with Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley brawling and the locker room trying to pull them apart was the best part of the entire show. I have really liked the build to Sunday's first match between these two, and Lashley has really upped his game over the last month. This is the Lashley we need, less smiling, more ass kicking.
The main event, while not the best match we could see between these two, was really good and it showed that McIntyre can hang with Seth. I have loved the feud between Rollins and Ziggler/McIntyre, and I hope the natural conclusion is that he will get some backup Sunday.
GOOD
The crowd was hot for this tag match and it made Nia come off very well going into the title match this Sunday. The Alexa beatdown with the kendo stick was very well done, and it actually made the fight between the two more believable.
BAD
Why are these two actually being featured on Monday night RAW? This is the kind of stuff that baffles me about this company. And they wonder why the ratings are tanking.
Baron Corbin wrestling in dress clothes make me fast forward through any match he's in, and it only makes it worse that he's been winning dressed like this. It's a joke that Finn Balor has to feud with this joke.
Why did we need to see Liv Morgan dominate and lose to Ember Moon two weeks in a row. Why can't anybody be booked special, especially talented performers. Liv Morgan can get a win over Dana Brooke if they want her to look good. Why have her bring down someone else.
I couldn't care less about this tag team feud and it's an absolute joke. Who cares about this?
PATHETIC
I hate to repeat the same thing I said last week, and the week before, and the week before, but WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU PEOPLE EXPECT!!!! These two are buried.
GREAT
They did a great job building the two tag matches for Sunday, with Team Hell No vs The Bludgeon Brothers and New Day vs Sanity. The main event was fun, the interview segments were good. But the main thing to watch was the Miz. I'm all but sure that he will help cost Team Hell No the match at Extreme Rules, which will lead to Bryan vs Miz at Summerslam.
After weeks of wondering when the hell they were going to have the match they advertised weeks ago, Sin Cara finally got his match with Andrade “Cien” Almas. This was fun, and I loved that they let Sin Cara get some good work in. This was all action, and even what happened in the small screen during the break was great action. I hope they have another one of these next week.
GOOD
We got another AJ Styles vs Nakamura match here, which was good, but you could clearly see there would be no finish, and Rusev was definitely getting involved. I liked the action, and I loved Rusev on commentary, he was great! The tag match with Jeff Hardy was OK, but I think Hardy needs to take some time off, as he looks bad in the ring. It was just off. But in the end, Rusev stood tall, and it was a great final build to Extreme Rules.
BAD
PATHETIC
I just don't see why they have decided to book Asuka to lay on her back every single week, and Carmella to stand tall. I get it, Asuka is most likely winning on Sunday, so she will get her revenge, but look how less over Asuka has been by the week. She looks like just another girl on the roster, instead of someone special. Its pathetic.
Final Thoughts: The final build to Extreme Rules was solid in some elements, but could have been so much better. I am most interested to seeing Reigns vs Lashley on Sunday. But as far as TV, Smackdown was waaaay better. RAW is just filled with so much bad and boring content. I hope we get some new direction next week leading to Summerslam.
