WWE RAW Reaction -
Final Stop before Extreme Rules
Check out my great, good, bad, and pathetic from last night's RAW.
Great
- I know I have said it every week, but I really am loving the Reigns vs AJ feud and all the components. Its such a good story and they are allowing Reigns to be more himself. I really think they need to keep this Roman Reigns character just like this, a bad ass. And AJ is just great.
- The main event match was Kalisto vs Del Rio, and while that match was solid, the real greatness was RUSEV, who fianlly is back as a vicious BEAST!!! I loved him destroying Sic Cara in the back then dragging him out to the arena and destroying him again. And then destroying Kalisto!!! It was excellent!!!! I loved it!!!
- Ric Flair is excellent!!!! That is all.
Good
- I really liked the tag match between Owens and Zayn vs Miz and Cesaro. The action was very good and the dynamic of Owens and Zayn together was interesting. This was also evidence that Kevin Owens will be a fantastic babyface when they finally turn him. I can't wait. He's excellent.
- Charlotte is getting even better on the mic. Good job building her up.
- I am interested in Ambrose vs Jericho in the new asylum cage match with all the weapons. Should be fun.
- Sad news about the Emma injury. But Dana Brooke is hot and will get over on the main roster, because, well you now. Boobs.
Bad
- The New Days time machine segment was a total bomb. Somebody came up with an idea, and it sucked. Enough said.
- Absolutely nobody gave a shit about the Shining stars in their re-debut. All I saw Primo and Epico squashing some geeks and talking about Puerto Rico. What a fresh gimmick.
Pathetic
- In the main event segment, they had a contract signing with Charlotte and Natalya. They were in Greensboro North Carolina, AKA Flair country, so of course the crowd ate up everything Ric did. And as I stated earlier, he was excellent. But the really pathetic was reserved for the QUEEN of PATHETIC, Stephanie McMahon. I hate her. She had to steal the show and cut off another set of balls this week by slapping Ric Flair and showing her power. Why was this the best choice, when Natty is challenging for the title and should have been the one to get some revenge on Ric for screwing her out of the title. But Oh no, this is Steph's show. Pathetic.
I'm excited about this Sunday's Extreme Rules show and I think it will be really good action. Reign's vs AJ has been a great new fresh feud and the inclusion of the factions has helped as well.
With Seth Rollins, John Cena, and more established stars returning very soon, it will be interesting to see where the booking goes.
