Ravens Training Camp Fan Night at M&T Bank Stadium
On Monday night, I traveled to Ravens stadium for an open practice and fireworks show, that the team opened up for all fans to attend. It wasn't highly publicized, but was still well attended.
I could only think of how many people, especially young inner city youth, have never had the chance to go to a real game due to the price of tickets. So its nice that the team opened the stadium up, free of charge, so that fans could see their favorite players perform in front of them, even if it was only a training camp practice.
On the field, the Ravens were not at full strength, as Breshad Perriman and Marlon Brown were absent last night. Those were the two people I wanted to watch the most, and they were not there. So nothing I saw last night gives me any real impression of what this offense will look like.
Second-round tight end Max Williams had perhaps his best practice of training camp, and it came in front of the biggest audience yet. He also got one of the loudest cheers of the night when he beat linebacker Arthur Brown in the middle of the field to snag a pass and sprinted to the end zone.
Defensively, the secondary with Jimmy Smith, Webb, Kyle Arrington, Kendrick Lewis, and Will Hill were all out there. Health is the key, as each mna can play of at full strength and I pray we can keep our weapons on the field.
There were also a few fireworks between wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. and Kyle Arrington, when the corner tried to break up a pass on a jump ball down the sideline. Arrington went hard at the ball., which is what I lie to see.
Smith got pissed and came up hobbling little, but was ok after he walked it off. He went back out on the field and later reeled in a touchdown pass against – guess who – Arrington. And instead of his patented ball spin, Smith tossed the ball into the stands for good measure.

There was a laser and fireworks show while playing various songs, highlighted by the Ravens anthem, Seven Nation Army, after the team finished practice and signed autographs for screaming fans.
Overall, it was great night and we appreciate the Ravens organization for opening up the stadium and putting on a show for the City of Baltimore.
