What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Wednesday Night 10-7-15
Check out my review of the great shows I watched last night. A great mix with Reality, musical drama, comedy, and procedural drama. Wednesday is just behind Sunday for the best TV night of the week.
Wow, everything changed last night on Survivor. After just a few weeks, the mixed up the tribes and split the groups into 3. Right off the bat I was scared to death for my girl Tasha as her and Savage were in the minority on the new tribe, down 4 to 2. But her and Savage worked together perfectly and somehow, someway saved themselves from elimination, and somehow where in charge of the vote!
It was masterful. They played on the declension between Abi and PG and played them against each other. And poor Woo, LOL, Smh. he had no clue yet again. Always in the dark.
In the other tribes, Jeremy looks like he is in in a good spot, and I'm pulling for him. He was able to find the hidden immunity idol, during the challenge, and did it very smoothly. I hope he goes far because I like his attitude and his story.
Rating: Very Good

Last night on Empire, Lucious is out of jail and making moves. That song Hakeem performed on Sway's radio show was hot, I can't lie. Another observation, Why the hell would Cookie waste such a great meal on the floor. Smh.
And Cookie messing with fire. Taking over Lucious's party and moving in on Pitbull? Boss move. I will say that the young thug chick Lucious went after for his label does have a edge to her that makes me wonder what she would do in real life.
I felt terrible for Hakeem and Cookie after that put all the time and effort into the sexy little Latino group only for shorty to jump ship and sign with Lucious. Smh. Tragic. But at least my man did get to hit it first!!!!!
This to me was the best episode of the season as it had a focus and really zero'd in on one main story line and built it well.

Last night's episode of Black'ish touched on a major issue in not just the African American community, but with men period, the fear of going to the doctors. As men, we like to think that we are string enough to handle anything and our body will tell us when something is wrong. Only thing the doctor will do is make things worst. It crazy, but that's what we think alot of times. We are invincible.
Great topic and the way they covered it was great. Including the barbershop scene where the guys convinced Pops that all he needed was to drink some Cranberry juice and he would be fine. Lol.
Rating: Good stuff

I must say, this season of Law and Order SVU has gotten off to the best start the show has seen in years. Damn that episode was good. Whoopi Goldberg was heavily advertised for the show and while her performance was good, highlighted by her speech on the witness stand, the rest of the episode was great.
This show has the ability to hit you right in the gut and bring you face to face with teh reality that these things really do happen and our people really are living in these circumstances. It made you feel for the little girl in the cage, it made you empathize, while not agree with the overloaded case worker in a small way, and it made you hate the system, while not having the answer to fix it all.
This episode could really be turned into a case study on the system itself, and I honestly learned a new perspective that I haven't paid enough attention to in the past.
Rating: EXCELLENT
