Week in TV Run It Back
DVR Review - 3/17/17
Thursday 3/9/17 - Wednesday 3/15/17
Thursday
Grey's Anatomy on ABC
I know you all are tired if me expressing how much I hate the direction of the show this season but it can't be overstated. It's the drizzling shits. Pathetic really. To treat a staple and fan favorite like Richard Webber this way and then craft a story to attempt to actually validate and make it ok for idiot viewers is just terrible. They really want us to be ok with this bullshit and understand why he needs to be demoted. Its terrible. |
Scandal on ABC
So Cyrus didn't kill Frankie Vargas and he didn't kill Jennifer Fields. And neither did Poppa Pope, and neither did Jake. Well who they hell did then? I have no damn clue. At this point Millie might had the whole thing set up for all we know. She did have the most to gain. I'm a bit lost and can't wait for the reveal next week. |
Riverdale on CW
I really liked this week's episode and if felt like a much welcomed break from the murder mystery we've been flooded with previously. I must note, Veronica is baad as hell. Got damn shorty sexy. Also, i love the relationship between Jughead and Betty although its inevitably doomed due to her love for Archie. Poor Jugg can't catch a break. And his father may be the killer. Smh. |
60 Days In: ATL on A&E
This week got our first look of the inmates entering their cells and getting settled in. The variety of personalities and backgrounds of the participants really lends itself to some great TV opportunities this season. I love that soft yo quit before they even locked him up. Lol. Light skinned trying be hard going get himself fucked up. And bug booty girl snitching hard already. Great show |
Sunday
Homeland on Showtime
What a great damn season this has turned out to be. Yon the conspiracy is at an all-time high for any show I can ever recall watching. First, poor Quinn. Smh. Yo just not right mentally since his flatline experience last season and he just can't mentally function consistent. But got damn of he still ain't a bad mofo. How he survived that sniper is amazing. Dal is the super villain this show desperately needed and this shit is great. |
American Crime on ABC
The best crime drama on TV returned for its 3rd season, and just by seeing the first episode I can surmise that this show once again will show its the best. The show tackles the modern day slavery epidemics of Human trafficking, forced prostitution, and illegal labor practices. The fact is, this underbelly has become the bedrock of the economy. Excellent start. |
Billions on Showtime
The war between Axe and Chuck may have just hit the ceiling. The smugness by Chuck in that deposition was uncanny. But the deflation Axe felt when not only was he faced with admitting Chuck hurt his feelings or emotions, and then learning he lost the football team bid was a killer. This shit may end in death. Now he's going sue Chuck for costing him the team. |
Monday
Scorpion on CBS
Paige need to stop playing around and get with my man Walter!! The poor guy is going through it emotionally and she abandoned him to struggle with those uncharted feelings. Honestly, I get why the show keeps them apart, because the build and anticipation keeps people watching. But they better get together soon cause this is becoming too much. The Happy and Toby relationship continues to be the highlight of the season and the growth of Happy is great! |
24: Legacy on FOX
My man Tony Alameda made an appearance this week which was a pleasant surprise. He bout to torture the hell out of the Senator's father to get to the bottom of the conspiracy. Fine, get answers the best way you can. Carter is so stupid in my opinion and is in no way shape or form comparable to Jack Bauer. He does the same bullshit everytime. Who takes no help on these missions, EVERY TIME!!!!! And his wife bout to get struck by his brother. |
Bates Motel on A&E
Man is this heating up or what. You really feel that this is teh final season because they are holding nothing back. The scenes with Norman and Madeleine are creepy as hell, because she really looks like a young Norma. That shit is so weird. And when my man was about to get it in, Norma showed up. LMAO!!! I think he's going check himself back into rehab cause Yo is clearly nuts and he's figuring it out. Sad that Caleb went out like that, but Oh well. And Rihanna is on her way!!!! |
Tuesday
Flash on CW
So I will never understand dumbass Barry Allen. For weeks you profess your love and even propose to this girl. And in two episodes yall are done? Cause you want to save her? GTFOH. This show annoys the hell out of me and makes little sense when it comes to logic. Iris is just as bad. Neither fights for the other and in the end they really don't belong together. The speed force was bullshit too. Not a good episode. |
DC's Legends of Tomorrow on CW
Tough episode for Nate, as he got to meet his Grandfather who he never knew before, and was faced with possibly changing tue relationship between he and his father. But tension between he and Amaya boiled over as he revealed that her timeline dictates that they won't be together for long. Have I mentioned how much I love her? When she sees her future at the end you know this will have major implications. Ray was great this episode too. |
The Challenge Invasion on MTV
Wow, Darryl is a beast!!! So great to see this brother back on the challenge going for his 5th title. I hate that new fans keep thinking Johnny is some kind of legend but truth is, he just cherry picked victories against weaker cast when heavyweights like Darryl and CT were not there. This is going be a barn burner down the stretch especially the way Darryl balled up Zack. Shit going be great!! |
This Is Us on NBC
So how the hell did Jack die? I just knew we would get some type of answer on the finale but in the end we got nothing. I mean, the entire episode i was feeling sad knowing Jacks death was coming but nope. I really dislike Rebecca even more now, as Jack was an excellent father and husband and deserved better than her selfish ways. Im so mad the season is over and we have to wait. |
The American on FX
They flipped the script this week, cause I just knew they was bout to beat the shit out of Paige and tell her to remember this ass beating whenever you think you about to snitch to Matthew. Lmao. Of course she didn't mention she already gave him the booty. Smh. I'm interested in wjay was the deal with them flies. Also, its rough how the CIA going squeeze Stan's informant after he helped. |
Wednesday
Survivor on CBS
Tye is such an idiot. That's why someone like him will never win this game. You vote your closest ally out in week 3 and think that will somehow help you? Your an idiot. Hats off to Culpepper for pulling that off. Also Kudos to Tarzan for finding that idol. And then there is that savage Sandra trying kill the baby goat. Smh. Pathetic. What a savage!!! True villan indeed. Great episode. |
Blackish on ABC
This week they covered Bo's pregnancy and the stigma women being pregnant in the business world carries. Not really tye most profound or funny episode but this one wasn't intended for me. Im sure this had a great affect with some viewers, so I'm fine with that. What was hilarious was that Ruby is still using an Ipod shuffle. Lmao. |
Black Ink Crew on VH1
So let me get this straight. You travel all the way to Puerto Rico and don't confirm you are really supposed to be there? I call bullshit. So you're on no poster or flyers? You have no press materials approved and sent ahead for your booth? You don't get there early to register and set up? This season feels so fake. Its like every other scene they are editing in dialogue and not showing mouths moving. Shit phony. Least Ceaser single. |
Are You the One on MTV
I knew these losers would be the first cast not to win the money. And not only that, these idiots had the shit figured out and sabotaged themselves two weeks ago. Then that messy ass reunion show was ridiculous. That jab to the face Alicia took was hilarious. I just don't see how the show can continue with the current format. It really works against the purpose and so few of the "perfect matches" end up staying with each other. |
Greenleaf on OWN
This family is the definition of dysfunctional. Mae whored herself out to her rapist father to get him not to testify against her husband, the Bishop who let his child molesting Deacon brother burn down their old church for the insurance money, a fire that we later found out killed the rival Bishop's father, who was inside, all so she could save their Mega church. Did I get all that right? Smh. This show touches every taboo topic known to man. |
Designated Survivor on ABC
WOW!!!! What the hell!! So Mackleesh is dead, his wife is dead and we have no clue who is behind this conspiracy. Honestly this show is so much better than any other murder mystery or thriller on TV. This is the new 24, starring Kiefer Sutherland and it lives up to the hype. Poor Malik Yobas son got killed. Man. And who the hell is the mole? Can't wait for next week. |
