What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Sunday Night 10-18-15
Check out my review of several shows I watched on Sunday night that were of very high quality.
Last night' episode of the Good Wife was so good. After it was over, all I could do was say Eli, Eli, Eli. I am so impressed with how the writers have given different supporting actors more of a shine this season. You have Howard, who has always been a very minor, but entertaining part of the show, getting a great story line this season. His relationship with Jackie is a perfect way to utilize both both great actors.
You have Grace, who has really come out of the shadows and is emerging as a real important force. I like the new Grace. And then there is Eli. Eli has always been a great part of the show, but this new story line is giving us the cunning Eli again, as he is having to think of ways to get back his spot that he lost. the ending where we find that he tipped off the judge in order to get a favor from him was classic Eli.
Overall, I was very entertained by the episode and Alicia's argument with her mother on the Live TV show was also a great highlight.

Hap is always one step ahead. Lol. Blood and Oil is becoming one of my favorite new shows because the story is simple, but they add in new wrinkles every week that keeps me interested. I loved it when Hap outbid Billy and the old man at the last minute for the oil land. It was classic.
Hap is clearly a character fashioned after JR Ewing, but I don't care, he's great. I can easily see them eventually going the route of who killed Hap, cause this guy is making enemies left and right. His downfall in the end, like with most, will be a woman.I see that coming. But which one?

Ah shit, Crazy Carrie is back on Homeland!!!! Carrie made the decision to go off her medicine, as she feels show does her best work and is most intuitive when she's not doped up. Plus crazy Carrie is a sex craved animal off her meds!!! To make matters worst, she snorting lines of caffeine!!! I done seen it all. Lol Smh. Playing with fire if you ask me. Clearly the news that the hit was set up for her has really shaken her, and now she is going on offense.
Carrie’s bipolar disorder has been a major component of the show from the beginning, and the show will always be, on some level, about a woman’s struggle with her psychiatric condition. But Carrie is supposed to be great at her job despite her condition, and the writers are playing dangerously loose with the idea of Carrie’s professional competence and whether medicating helps or hinders her.
Rating: I love Crazy Carrie

Quantico continues to surprise and keep you guessing, which is a good thing. I liked the idea of not knowing who was with the agency before hand and who is working for them now, as t relates to the flashbacks and flash forward scenes. Its a bit confusing at times, but it keeps you thinking and makes me second guess everyone's motives. Like any great mystery should.

The Affair was not that good this week, as it felt like a transitional episode and lacked a real purpose that ties the overall story together. The flashbacks and present day scenes don’t have the same cohesion they had at the beginning of the series, which becomes less and less of an issue as the show figures out they don’t have to be so closely connected.
Part of the issue could be that, after spending two weeks exploring new things in Helen and Cole’s perspectives, it was disappointing to return to the regular dynamic of just Noah and Alison. I'm sure it will warm up though.
Rating Solid
