NFL Highlights: Week 11
Check out my thought's on some of the main headlines from around the league on in week 11. Big match ups and tight contest were entertaining.
Cam leads Panthers to 10-0 record
The Carolina Panthers rolling, and much of the credit must be given to their leader, the strong MVP candidate, Cam Newton. Cam threw for 5 touchdowns on Sunday and was dabbing and celebrating all day. The team is rolling and have beaten every team, no matter how strong or weak the team is, so they deserve a lot of credit.
Packers Bounce Back
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Packers dropped three games in a row before heading to play the division leading Minnesota Vikings. They came ready, focused and on a mission. that defense was flying to the ball and wouldn't let Adrian Peterson get going They were hell of physical too. The offense wasn't great, but it was effective, and it was good to see Eddie Lacey break a few good runs as well. This should be great down the stretch in the NFC North.
Jameis trying get Famous
The Tampa Bay Bucs are on a roll. Rookie Jameis Winston threw for 5 touchdowns and Doug Martin ran for 235 yards on the ground. Crazy good day for the Bucs who beat Philly up all day long. the Eagles are fading fast and the Bucs are gaining steam.
Jets Fading Fast
The New York Jets looked to be a surprise team in the AFC East but they can't win games they are supposed to as of late. Or maybe the Houston Texans are better than I have been giving them credit for being. Either way, Revis was getting burned all day by DeAndre Hopkins, and that was no fluke. Hopkins has been sensational this year, and JJ Watt was a beast, as normal. The Jets defense really no showed.
Cardinals out-duel the Bengals
Sunday night football was a hell of game between two teams that could easily see each other again in the Superbowl. But in the end, the Cardinals gave the Bengals their 2nd loss in a row and extended their lead in the NFC West. Larry Fitzgerald had a great game and the Cardinals looked like a team ready for January.
Patriots Still Undefeated but with a Cost
The Pats are unbeaten, but damn do they have a lot of injuries. Not only is Edelman hurt, but now Amanedola, who had a great game, was forced to leave with injury. Its amazing how they are able to pull out these games with replacements and nobodies. Lot of credit must be given to the coaching staff and of course, Tom Brady.
