Summer TV Report Card
Before the start of the Summer TV season, I posted the premier schedule for all new and returning shows during the traditional TV off season. Historically, Summertime has been used by Networks as a vacation period, between the Fall and Spring seasons. Basically the time to air reruns.
But as of the last several years, especially with the rise of Reality TV, some networks have forced the industry to change its ways and treat the Summer as an important season to air high quality shows in a short run form. Some of the best shows on TV air during this time in a 8 to 12 episode format.
So let's look at some of the new and returning shows from this past summer and give it a letter grade. A-F, very simple.
