This event was originally scheduled to be headlined by UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier defending against former champion Jon Jones in a rematch from UFC 182 in January 2015. However, on April 1, Cormier was forced out of the bout due to an injury. Ovince Saint Preux stepped in to fight Jones and the bout will now be for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Championship.
