What You Should have Watched Last Night:
Sunday Night 11-1-15
Check out my review of several shows I watched on Sunday night that were of very high quality.
This week on The Good Wife, Alicia and Lucca finally took on a real case of their own and tried to make some real money this week. And the focus, the devil itself, Student Loans!!! I wish this was real. I wish someone would send me a check paying me back all the money those blood suckers take fro me on a monthly basis. Smh.
I really like the character Jason as the new investigator. y man just seems cool and he gets results, no matter what it takes. I'm curious as to where the Cary/Howard story is going, as it seems unlikely that either man will have a change of heart toward the other anytime soon. But Howard continues to be a real highlight of the season.
Episode Rating: Great

Last night's Quantico focused a lot on Simon, the man we were led to believe was behind the bomb after watching last weeks episode. But this week we see that Caleb was not the culprit, but more so a victim. Turns out Shelby was sleeping with his father all along. Smh. The new key suspects of Alex and the crew is the twins, as it seems the formula is a new suspect every week will be investigated. I don't think I like this type of storytelling.
We're at the point where there are too many questions to keep track of. There needs to be more follow through with these teases. There are a ton of mysteries surrounding all the characters, and yet we don't have a lot of answers.
Episode Rating: Solid

Crazy Carrie was calmer and back on her game last night on Homeland. She was hell bent on finding out who was trying to kill her, and in the process of doing so she stumbled on the fact that the Russians may have taken down that plane from last week. Carrie was in full gumshoe mode this episode and her most important discovery was that the same Russian guys who'd stolen the hacked documents had also conspired with Allison to have Carrie murdered.
Quinn believed he would blow Carrie's cover and put her in danger, so he made a decision only someone as truly hardcore as he would: Sneak out, tie himself to a cinder block, and jump in a river. Quinn was going to kill himself to keep Carrie safe. True love boy... but he failed. Lol.
It will be interesting to see what happens next with Saul. Dar Adal put a tail on him and suspects him of conspiring with the Russians, thanks to the traitor Allison. I wonder how long it will take for the truth to come out.

While I love the multiple POV formula of The Affair, I really am sick of the flash forward model several shows have been using lately. I hate seeing what happens before it happens. I want to see a story unfold as it is supposed to, in real time. Its anticlimactic to already know Noah and Allison are going to get married and have a kid. Especially when many signs point to the fact that they may not end up like that as we watch the real time scenes.
But that being said, I loved the Allison and Cole story line. They should be together. Alison is afraid there’s something wrong with her, that people think she’s a slut. He doesn’t think she is. I think Cole is the only person who doesn’t look at Alison as a piece of meat. Then they had sex. LOL!!!
This is one of the first times I think Alison comes across as the same person in both her perspective and that of another lead character. It doesn’t surprise me. I feel like Cole and Alison love each other, but just haven’t been able to mend their relationship since their son died.
But none of it matters, since we know Allison and Noah will end up together.
