TOP FIVE SHOWS
OF THE LAST WEEK
NUMBER FIVE
The Crossing - ABC
Wow this show!!! The coverup is getting really crazy, and it's hard for me to believe that they would kill one of the lead characters of the show this early in the series. She has to be alive right? Also, slowly learning more about where they came from and why some made it and others didn't has been very well done so far. I love the suspense element of the show.
NUMBER FOUR
Designated Survivor - ABC
I'm starting to believe that Andrea Frost really is the leaker. I was sure they wouldn't go that direction at first but when Kirkman fired Hanna Wells, who has always been the person to crack the biggest conspiracies, I became sure that Frost is guilty. Kirkman clearly thinks very highly of Andrea and he may be blinded because he likes her. He didn't even want to hear the evidence really, so naturally he'll be wrong. Or they could uncover that she's being framed. Either way, this episode continued the trend of a great season.
NUMBER THREE
Homeland - Showtime
So much happened in this episode that it's pretty shocking to recap. The President was removed from office and now the cover up is in full swing. I loved that Carrie was back into full blown mission mode. Enough with the love interest bullshit. Enough with worrying about being a mother. She is at her best when she has a mission to dive into, and this week she was great. It looks like Simone is going to be the smoking gun that will get the President her job back and put that snake Senator on the hot seat for lying about knowing that the Russians were behind everything.
NUMBER TWO
The Americans - FX
This episode was a perfect example of the evolution of this series and the best of the season. Philip is a good man and Elizabeth is the ultimate worker. She slept with him only because she needed him to complete a mission. It was so sad as Phillip thought he and his wife were connecting again only to find out that she only wanted him to lure Kimmey into a hostage situation. She's ruthless and completed another vicious murder scene this week which was excellent. Paige is not built for this life and I'm glad Phillip showed her just how weak she still is. Final season is heating up.
THIS WEEK'S NUMBER ONE
Atlanta - FX
Yes finally another great episode!!! A lot of this season has been weird as shit and pretty average, but this episode was hilarious!! That dude Tracey is hilarious and when pushed shorty down the steps I was dying crying from laughter!!! Erv been a terrible manager this year and clearly it was all leading to his ass getting fired. And he deserved it cause Paper boi should be a much bigger star at this point. Yo the scene with the pledges was the worst thing I have seen on a show and hilarious at the same time. Erv getting his ass beat by Tracey was so damn well done. He asked for it! Great episode!!
