So Long Cari Champion!!!!!
I am so happy for ESPN's Cari Champion, as she finally gets to live out her dream of being a Sportscenter anchor. I myself used to dream of holding that job, (until it turned into the nothing position it is today, but that's another story for another day), so I am so happy she gets to live out her dream.
Now I know some of you may be saying, "He hates Cari Champion". And I would disagree with that statement 100%. I am genuinely happy that she will be on Sportscenter. You see, Sportscenter is based in facts, and you read info from a teleprompter most of the time. Cari will be great for that position.
I am happy for Cari, as now I can return to watching the show I used to DVR everyday at 10am, First Take. Now I can return.
You see Cari simply was not a good fit. She was too talented to be the third wheel on the show. And that is a complement. The job of moderator, is not to over talk the main panelist, or interject your opinion into every conversation, or play cheerleader for Skip Bayless. Those were the issues I had with her.
So many times, she was just agreeing with whatever Skip was saying, even when she had little knowledge on the subject. So many times, she would....

But today, I celebrate Cari Champions accomplishment. I am elated for her. I hope she stays on Sportscenter forever!!!!!!!!!!
